Privacy

CivicBrands is a static-first publication surface. The site does not require user accounts, behavioral profiling, or application telemetry to provide its public content.

What we do not run

No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no behavioral analytics. No tracking cookies. No fingerprinting. No third-party advertising scripts.

CivicBrands does not set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, the site should say so plainly and give people a real choice instead of a decorative banner.

What we store

The site has two forms that store data in Cloudflare D1, our hosting provider's database:

• The contact form on /contact stores: name (if you provided), email (if you provided), topic, message, time of submission, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string.
• The KC suggestion form on /kc/suggest stores: the contribution itself (organization name, description, URL, category, urgency flag), an optional translation contribution, your name and contact (if you provided), time of submission, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. How we use it

Contact form submissions are used to respond to you. KC suggestion submissions are used to update the directory. Neither is sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.

What our hosting provider sees

Cloudflare sees every request to this site, as it is in the request path. Their privacy practices apply. CivicBrands does not enable Cloudflare Web Analytics or any optional behavioral feature on this property.

Server logs

Cloudflare Workers observability logs request metadata (URL, status, basic timings) for operational purposes. These logs are retained according to Cloudflare's defaults. No request body content is logged.

Removal

To request deletion of a contact form or suggestion form submission, email privacy@mail.civicbrands.org with the approximate submission time.
